Smoothies (Real food/Paleo recipes!)

I’ve been on a smoothie kick lately! Here are a few of my favorite real food smoothie recipes…

Green Banana Bread Smoothie (dairy free optional)

  • Protein: 1 scoop vanilla #grassfed whey protein powder or organic pea protein + 2 T #pastureraised collagen protein powder (20 G protein total)
  • Fat: 1/4-1/2 an avocado (1 serving healthy fat) + 1 T almond butter (1/2 serving healthy fat)
  • Carb: 1/2 a banana (1/2 cup starchy carb) + spinach (1 cup nonstarchy)
  • Extra: 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Berry Overload smoothie (nut free)

  • 1/2 cup of mixed blueberries and raspberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk, full fat
  • 1 scoop natural vanilla whey protein powder or collagen or organic pea protein

Strawberries & Cream Smoothie (nut free)

  • 1 cup of strawberries (frozen)
  • 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt, full fat
  • 2 T heavy whipping cream
  • Some ice cubes

Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Smoothie (nut free)

  • 1 cup of strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt, full fat
  • 1/2 an avocado
  • Full scoop of natural chocolate whey protein powder or collagen or organic pea protein

Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie (dairy/gluten free)

  • Half banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, full fat
  • 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter
  • Cup of spinach
